Just went weekend 9/10 late.Repeated lakes inn / hotel.Fully busy, and lots locals in the bar.We'd room 3, over looking the road with a four poster bed.Similar to most rooms in pubs, no bathtub!If you love an early night the noise http://www.rcorner.co.uk/ from the bar below may keep you away.Food remarkable, though perhaps quite pricey.All in throughout, will have no problems staying here again.If you have not been to hawkshead it is very quaint, brought to mind a cornish village.
Sleeping quarters tip:Room 3 for several bar, last orders are for the bar empties, so can be somewhat noisey
Entirely was a cold, wet day as queen's beckoned for a pint and a bite.The small table near the log fire was available.Some local beers were offered.Recption menus looked good.But the truth is, one minimal moan, we weren't asked if we would like mayo/sauce etc.It was very warm too that had been ideal after our walk.Trying North Face UK Outlet to was the bathroom it was a good size with a nice bath and a fantastic, strong shower which i didn't want to get away from once i'd got in.Along with regards to came, it was fantastic even the chips were done to efficiency(And with pride).The staff all seem to take pride in their service and excellence of their food.My daughter had an frozen goodies in a plastic penguin type thing which broke.One of the girls went out of her way to try and find someone else for her.She could hardly, but it was the considered that counted.Little things like that do matter.The annual fireworks show was on and we were backwards and forwards trying to watch.This was our yesterday in hawkshead and we wanted to end on a high with nice memories of the place, as opposed to the disaster we'd had the night before.We were so glad we chose the queens head and next time we're in the neighborhood, we'll without doubt, return.I hope other places in the village take note.
Visited for my 50th with my husband.Stuck 2 nights.Felt i had North Face Outlet Sale UK to write this due to some negative tendencies about rooms.We kept in an as yet unfurbished room above the bar.Some everything doesn't change, whether you would like to drink, dine or have fun, you will find the queen's head the perfect base look around the beautiful south lakes of cumbria and beyond.We have thirteen newly refurbished comfortable guest rooms all with private bathrooms and all per piece styled and furnished.Free wi fi is around for all our guests.Our celebrated catering, awarded an aa four star for culinary flawlessness, has a menu to accommodate all tastes.Each dish is devised and perfected by our head chef and was established to utilise local ingredients from local suppliers.
